EVIRT Italia R&D department is always focused on finding new solutions

to make the rolling machines more and more independent as well as reducing to simple control the human intervention.

Several recently designed and deeply tested features are already available on EVIRT ITALIA SMART ROLLING MACHINES:

AUTOMATIC SPINDLES’ INCLINATION: performed by Siemens servomotors and locked by on porpoise designed hydraulic devices, it makes the spindles’ inclination process instantaneous (inclination performed in less than 2 seconds) warranting also a precision in positioning smaller than 0,01 degrees.

AUTO-PITCHING: laser based system able to automatically measure and calculate the most suitable tools’ rolling positions. Lasting only 2 minutes of optical tools’ analysis, the EVIRT Italia patented system is not requiring any waste of material (no testing samples).

AUTOMATIC WORK-REST HIGHNESS: available on all models of two dies rolling machine, device permits a simple and intuitive definition of the workpiece rest highness, which makes the two dies machine as flexible as the three dies one. Hydraulically operated by a Bosch proportional valve and linearly controlled by dedicated encoder, It permits to define the workpiece’s rest highness in a fully automatic mode.

SPIDNLE’S HORIZONTAL INCLINATION BLOCKING SYSTEM: designed to ensure the requested workpiece conicity during any kind of rolling process, the FEM dimensioned blocking system is providing the most proper blocking force to fully compensate the rolling force. Thanks to this feature, the position of the tools between the spindles’ supports is not anymore a variable affecting the process’ result.

POWER SAVER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: low consuming hydraulic system designed to make the machine’s power consumption at least 30% more economical (less kWatt usage), permitting also to increase up to 50% the speed of any hydraulic linear movements.

AUTO-CALCULATION OF WORKING PARAMETERS: based on over 50 years of thread rolling experience, EVIRT HMI, available on all the EVIRT Italia thread rolling machines, permits an intuitive and easy set up according to a mistake proofing method, where the experience is inside on the machine.

FULLY INNOVATIVE MACHINE’S STRUCTURE: EVIRT Italia rolling machines presents a strongly reinforced main frame entirely redesigned following accurate FEM Analysis, in order to permit a “zero deflection” rolling process also during the most heavy operations. Thanks to its features, the structure makes EVIRT Italia Rolling Machines able to obtain tolerance smaller than 10 microns on the related rolled workpieces.
